like i said recently, it's that time of year again: new glasses time.

i hadn't looked at lookmatic's selection in a while, but today i was happy to find a couple cat eye-inspired styles, as well as a few more i wouldn't mind having.

i think i'm set on the tippi, seen at the very top. but i'm also kind of tempted by the shelby (super catty!) and the austin.

the deal clincher? the coupons today on fab: non-rx sunglasses (regularly $65) are $34, and you can snag a pair of prescription frames (regularly $95) for $48. so, you know, if it's that time of the year for you, too, i'd go check that out.

*this balm/stain is the best thing i've discovered in a long time. it lasts forever (i woke up the other morning and kind of scared myself when i looked in the mirror—my lips were still as bright and pink as the night before), and it costs under $8, PLUS it makes me look just like emma stone. ... oook, that was a little game of '2 truths and a lie.' anyway, go buy it.

what a long week! i'll tell you this much: there will be a few margaritas and a lot of lounging in the next couple of days. i just wish i could be doing it in these gorgeous things from zinke. (wouldn't you love that navy romper as a swimsuit? me too.)

the upside to having eyes that seem to get worse by the day is that i can get away with constantly shopping for new glasses.

so, i'm happy to discover yet another (super-affordable) eyewear up-and-comer in see by us, recently launched in stockholm by elisabeth wachtmeister and nicole de geer.

the literary inspiration is great—their three styles so far are the gatsby, truman and joyce—but what sold me at first sight was the logo: a perfect set of double quotes.
