so, i'm happy to discover yet another (super-affordable) eyewear up-and-comer in see by us, recently launched in stockholm by elisabeth wachtmeister and nicole de geer.
the literary inspiration is great—their three styles so far are the gatsby, truman and joyce—but what sold me at first sight was the logo: a perfect set of double quotes.

i was happy to discover french brand virginie castaway in my internet wanderings tonight. everything about designer virginie neumann's looks makes me want to pack a little bag and wander the world.
also, the little film at the beginning is so dreamy. i want to be in it.
