i usually don't like to sign on for guest posts (i'm sorry! i'm bad with commitment!). but when ms. pink got in touch with promises of something new and exciting, i figured i couldn't miss the party. after all, i imagine that katie knows a good party.
katie and megan, of the fresh exchange, have come up with something that—katie wasn't lying—is new and exciting. and, the best part is, it's for everyone. no VIP invite required.
i hope you'll put on your dancing shoes and head on over there to get the scoop.
while you're there, check out greedy girl's joan holloway-inspired party look. and tell me if you don't just die over those earrings.
now that summer's over, greedy girl is back in full swing. and that means the return (or departure?) of getaway girl. my attention turns to new york city at this time of year so it only makes sense to pick back up with a return to the big apple.
and, of course, tonight's fashion's night out there and everywhere else (including little ol' okc). unfortunately, i'll be at work. but, in my imaginary night out in new york, i'd be wearing this—and i'd have lots and lots of money to spend:
+ lace top from topshop
+ heels from marni
+ pants from lover
+ earrings from elva fields
+ necklace from topshop
+ bag from pour la victoire (gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!)
any of you guys lucky enough to attend some shows or events in the next week? tell me all about it, if so!
amazing. a beautiful incarnation of longchamp's classic le pliage, but designed by bless. it rolls into a doughnut. get it? it's funny. and i want it.

this is one of those shops that i'm constantly checking in on and starting blog posts about, but never quite commit to them because i'm greedy and don't want to share my good finds sometimes. i've been obsessed with these 'everyday' pencil skirts for a while now and would love to stock up with one in every color (and about six in black). and maybe a couple of those 'chic' dresses, too, in black. so pretty.

thanks to liz durham and pennyweight, i'm obsessed with this shop.
and everything (as far as i can tell) is under $110? amazing. now, the hard part is deciding what to get first. i'm thinking the cape is a must. but in what color? the blue is pretty, but i'm not sure you can go wrong with red. i'd love to see them offer a mustard option, too. decisions, decisions.
this parka-esque cape/coat is also pretty great. i need that one, too.

i've been set on a pair of cat-eyes since seeing 'how to marry a millionaire' a couple months back and crushing all over four-eyed marilyn monroe. now that it's time for my annual eye exam and i'll no doubt be needing some ultra-improved lenses (i feel like i go blinder by the day), i think it's time to give this style a try. here are a few pairs at the top of my ebay watch list: in olive, clear-ish gray and tortoise shell.
which pair do you like? and do you know of any other great cat-eye shop resources? so far, i've only had luck with ebay.
know of something i might like, have a product you'd like featured or just want to send me lovely things?
just e-mail me at cd@iamagreedygirl.com.
