aside from being envious of anyone who looks like this, i'm also envious of anyone who can pull off these types of puffy-shouldered shirts. in fact, i might not have been a fan of such shirts until i saw one styled like this.

sequins galore (have to have this jacket) + a hobo bag collection i'd kill for + shoes i need = new favorite shop.
what's a new favorite you've stumbled upon lately?
really fun looks from loup, don't you think? love that they're all mid-air shots.
Loup proudly continues on to its third season and is expanding from its original vision of fashionable tennis apparel to focus on comfortable and modern women's wear. Loup is revisiting the past in a modern light. This season is all about creating effortless fashion for every woman, where each garment is ready to wear, easy to care for, and perfect for any occasion.
i like that.
even better? take 15 percent off your entire purchase until the end of the year. just enter 'holiday' at checkout.
and, on a related note, i'm going to steal this really genius idea. it just looks like so much fun.
i cannot get this cape out of my head. i really am not kidding when i say i could wear a cape every day for the rest of my life. (who remembers this plaid wool cape from paul & joe's target line? still a staple in my wardrobe, four years later.)
p.s. did you know about this? i like.
t by alexander wang tank, marc by marc jacobs satchel, seychelles boots, suede (!) legging by rika, lion and lamb ring by elisa solomon.

you've seen 'a league of their own,' right? i hope you have. it's easy enough to draw inspiration from the 40s frocks and coiffures (think 'all the way mae'), but i've always loved geena davis' character's style at the very beginning.
and this line reminds me of that. inspired by women's workwear during world war II, the pieces are all made in limited runs — and cost under $100.
please sign me up. and call me rosie.

a calendar swap update... i got through about half of the pairings before falling asleep (so many of you signed up!). so if you haven't yet gotten the e-mail with your swapmate's details, give me one more day.
i also want to say thank you to everyone who signed up. there were nearly 130 participants from all over the world. also thank you to ms. design crush for co-hosting the swap with me again.
