wow. what do you think of this 1910s lace tea dress? i think it'd make a lovely wedding dress for a more casual affair.
just snatched up this crossbody bag on gilt. regularly $348, on sale for $119 and i even had some credit to use. i'd been ogling it for a couple days but finally broke down. so, you know, awesome.

wouldn't you love to outfit your wardrobe in these styles from australian designer akira isogawa?
i couldn't agree more.
i won a trip to seattle, courtesy of ms. rachel thurston.
yes, i am serious. no, i can't believe it.
i'm still reeling, but just wanted to tell the world. so, that's all.
AND, THANK YOU, RACHEL THURSTON!
(that's rachel's amazing photo above, but look at it on her site because mine doesn't do it justice.)
the last thing i need is to start collecting something. but these vintage globes from pedlar's make me want to sell everything i own just to have a few (they are pricey).
i allllmost forgot about today's fourteen days of february find.
and it's a good one, no?
p.s. sorry about text at bottom of image. not cool.
i keep seeing these really great pieces from comptoir des contonniers over at ellenitza (great style, if you didn't know already) and had to check it out for myself.
i like what i see. can't wait to see what spring & summer looks they come up with.

loving jhill's new "a toast to..." series. best part? it was inspired by vintage flash cards.
and, of course, i'm still a really big fan of the city prints.
shorts from alloy | topshop sweatshirt | ally capellino bag* | mocassins from goodhood store
*i really. really. really. need this. just so you know, ms. capellino. (thanks, shiny squirrel for the introduction.)

so the & lake and stars has only recently become a favorite. you can see why.
but the photography in their spring & summer lookbook? wow. WOW. you can see why. it's by tom hines, who obviously does some extraordinary work.
p.s. don't forget to check out the gilt sale for the lake & stars today... it starts at 11 cst. good luck!
something i especially love about joe is that he shares my wanderlust. we've been on so many perfect trips together, and i can't wait to check more destinations off my list with him.
wouldn't it be fun to chronicle your journeys, or where you met, or where your home is with these vintage map hearts from bombus?
unfortunately, this olive oil dipping dish is no longer available, but i couldn't resist sharing.
maybe you'll have luck going through designer mary judge's site.
you can probably tell i'm jonesin' for spring. and i'd love to start it off with these looks from the filippa k spring summer collection.
all dresses should have: a) pockets. 2) amazing open backs.
just like this one.
p.s. still dying for these.
