le sigh.
from pigeon.toed.
i kind of want to host a dinner party and plan it around these mini star urchin place card holders. with these hanging overhead.
you want to come to that party, don't you?

i found these prints over at duet letterpress, and they are so pretty and summery, don't you think?

i wish mother nature would stop with this cold stuff. the only thing in the world that i want right now is some sand+sun. and, well, these looks to go with it.
loving these tops from mika & wishing i could pull them off...
p.s. mika gives five percent of proceeds to the wildlife conservation network.

i'm kind of sad i came across this circus tent ring too late... so cute.

(update: i've been informed they'll be restocking! thanks, old gold boutique!)
it's a week late, but i just realized i didn't post a 14th find. this is the card i gave joe for valentine's day. it's by hammerpress & sums up my thoughts exactly.
are you kidding me, williams sonoma? restock, please.
(they're message-in-a-cookie cutters, if you didn't pick up on that.)
via annie at loose leaf tigers.
hello, pretty little thing.
(made of sterling silver and bronze rocks — love that organic shape — on 14k gold rings.)
via ill seen, ill said.
ok, i'll say it now.
i am over this cold weather.
elizabeth & james gingham shirt, erin wasson jeans, filson bag, biviel sandals.
today, you'll notice something new to your right. yes, they're sponsors. consider it a trial run. but here's the thing. anything you see over there will be handpicked by me. i promise you won't see anything i can't back completely or that i am not completely obsessed with. and, hopefully, these new friends will lead you to something new that you love, too.
so, now, let me introduce you...
i've been a fan of the shiny squirrel for a long time now, and i know you will love jessica's shop as much as i do. (annnnnd, if you haven't already, check the blog. eye candy galore. which you should already know since i steal her finds all the time.)
and, speaking of eye candy, you might recognize the work of creative holly, who captured so brilliantly the pug i call luke. after you get done perusing her really amazing portfolio (she is smart, this holly), you'll find plenty of more inspiration at creative holly color, where she chronicles the colors that drive her favorite creatives (and lots of mine, too).
a big thank you to jessica and holly, and thank you guys for being such loyal readers. i hope you'll consider this new plan another opportunity to find something pretty. because that's what we're all about here, right? that's why i like you.
how ridiculous is it that i really feel like i need these? i'd stash them away for a skinny day.
i've been wanting to blog about these paper garland necklaces by lauren manoogian for some time now. they remind me of confetti system, which is clearly a really good thing.

sorry for the spur-of-the-moment presidents day break.
i'll be back to regularly scheduled blogging tomorrow.
in the meantime, i really think these printed jars are great. and i can't wait to pick up a few of these for kelly. she loves everything pickled!
via eat drink chic.
p.s. reader question: do you like when i blog home-y stuff? or should i stick to shoes and dresses?
this is for those of you who might vomit at the sight of any more pink & red. (after a great valentine cookie debacle last night, i might be a part of that crowd now.)
i also really like this one. now... if they could just restock this robot moonscape.
note to self: buy a laser cutter?

i love that these notecards from humunuku don't necessarily scream 'valentine's day.'
i want them. and YES, i do realize i haven't gotten much wear from the minnetonkas i coveted so badly, but, these are different. like, say, a tad more wearable? oh and hey, they're half off.

we saw "an education" last weekend, and i can't stop thinking about it. it's easily in my top five of all-time. really. that good. i loved carey mulligan, and peter sarsgaard really cannot be matched. really. go see it this weekend if you haven't already.
camus' the stranger, vintage brown leather school satchel, a.p.c. dress, bensimon elastique, wave dress by langner, fantasia lights*, forever21 clutch, me too peep-toes.
*i don't endorse smoking, but aren't those the prettiest?
i don't think i could quite pull this knotted leather necklace off, but oh how i wish i could.
i'm telling you... i'm just not over this collaboration. especially when i come across something so pretty as these.
surely you've seen the oklahoma city guide over at design*sponge? kelly and i worked on it together (though, to be fair, she did most of the work). but, if you ever find your way to oklahoma city, the guide is a good place to start.
also, thank you to all who nominated greedy girl for the okie blog awards. there is some stiff competition in there, including a number of friends, so i am over the moon about it. so, you know, don't forget to vote by end of the day feb. 14.
(the photo above is of the tower theater right down the street. we're waiting on something cool to happen there.)
these babushkups are kind of random, but i really needed to share. because they are nesting glasses. as they should be. too cute.
know of something i might like, have a product you'd like featured or just want to send me lovely things?
just e-mail me at cd@iamagreedygirl.com.
