the sartorialist.

wow.

that's all.

pendleton + opening ceremony.

well, shoot. those are pretty nice, aren't they?

via unruly things.

isobel and cleo.

how ridiculous is it that i really feel like i need these? i'd stash them away for a skinny day.

arts & science.

just some pretty things i spotted...

manu.

i've been wanting to blog about these paper garland necklaces by lauren manoogian for some time now. they remind me of confetti system, which is clearly a really good thing.

burgon & ball.

sorry for the spur-of-the-moment presidents day break.

i'll be back to regularly scheduled blogging tomorrow.

in the meantime, i really think these printed jars are great. and i can't wait to pick up a few of these for kelly. she loves everything pickled!

via eat drink chic.

p.s. reader question: do you like when i blog home-y stuff? or should i stick to shoes and dresses?

fourteen days of february: day 13.

it's true...

owly shadow puppets.

this is for those of you who might vomit at the sight of any more pink & red. (after a great valentine cookie debacle last night, i might be a part of that crowd now.)

i also really like this one. now... if they could just restock this robot moonscape.

note to self: buy a laser cutter?

fourteen days of february: day 12.

i love that these notecards from humunuku don't necessarily scream 'valentine's day.'

belle by sigerson morrison.

i want them. and YES, i do realize i haven't gotten much wear from the minnetonkas i coveted so badly, but, these are different. like, say, a tad more wearable? oh and hey, they're half off.

wonder wonder.

i am really love these ethnic-esque prints and patterns lately*, so it's no surprise i instantly fell for this afrika knot necklace**.

*more here, here and here.
**and maybe i'm also a bit into knots right now, too: here, here and here.

inspired by... 'an education.'

we saw "an education" last weekend, and i can't stop thinking about it. it's easily in my top five of all-time. really. that good. i loved carey mulligan, and peter sarsgaard really cannot be matched. really. go see it this weekend if you haven't already.

camus' the stranger, vintage brown leather school satchel, a.p.c. dress, bensimon elastique, wave dress by langner, fantasia lights*, forever21 clutch, me too peep-toes.

*i don't endorse smoking, but aren't those the prettiest?

sadly, this is no longer.

fourteen days of february: day 11.

this one was a bit late. sorry about that!

via camp comfort.

i don't think i could quite pull this knotted leather necklace off, but oh how i wish i could.

vivienne westwood + melissa.

i'm telling you... i'm just not over this collaboration. especially when i come across something so pretty as these.

from paul smith's spring-summer collection.

as usual, love that use of color.

funktional.

oh how i wish i could get away with wearing something like this.

fourteen days of february: day 10.

(and i hope you never stop.)

love this card.

a couple notes...

surely you've seen the oklahoma city guide over at design*sponge? kelly and i worked on it together (though, to be fair, she did most of the work). but, if you ever find your way to oklahoma city, the guide is a good place to start.

also, thank you to all who nominated greedy girl for the okie blog awards. there is some stiff competition in there, including a number of friends, so i am over the moon about it. so, you know, don't forget to vote by end of the day feb. 14.

(the photo above is of the tower theater right down the street. we're waiting on something cool to happen there.)

fred.

these babushkups are kind of random, but i really needed to share. because they are nesting glasses. as they should be. too cute.

tina kalivas.

... want.

via shiny squirrel.

lorick.

1. this collection is nice. really nice.

2. the lorick web site is a little piece of magic. from design to music. (and i always hate music on sites.)

3. i know i'm really late to the game with these looks.

gretel, part 2.

p.p.s. i'd like one, thanks.

gretel.

i can't be certain this blanket doesn't remind me a bit of a cossssssby sweater, but i really think it should sit on my bed.

p.s. notice the rounded corner? check out the web site to see why. i love that.

fourteen days of february: day 9.

i've always loved this print from naomi murrell. (& i really love it in this color story too.)

jackson, johnston and roe.

some pretty looks...

matomeno.

i wish i could tell you more about this fun cookie card, but, alas, i can't.

p.s. this is awesome.

fourteen days of february: day 8.

i am late to the game with this wood you be mine faux bois log from something's hiding here, but i wish i wasn't. i'd have loved to pick up a few to give as valentines. (not that i have more than one true valentine, but you know how it goes.)

fourteen days of february: day 7.

such a pretty little paperweight.

[update: jules from this shop, modern chic home, is offering 10 percent off with code VIPGUEST. thanks, jules!]

vintage textile.

wow. what do you think of this 1910s lace tea dress? i think it'd make a lovely wedding dress for a more casual affair.

bcbg max azria.

just snatched up this crossbody bag on gilt. regularly $348, on sale for $119 and i even had some credit to use. i'd been ogling it for a couple days but finally broke down. so, you know, awesome.

mama's little babies.

i think this is kind of interesting. what do you think?

fourteen days of february: day 5.

how about these brown sugar hearts? pretty cute, i think.

akira isogawa.

wouldn't you love to outfit your wardrobe in these styles from australian designer akira isogawa?

i couldn't agree more.
