related but unrelated: so i really, really am looking for a good indian headdress. i'm not sure for what reason, but i am sure i need one. this, above, fooled me... but it's about 16 times better that way.

apologies and holiday wishes: i've been illin' for the past couple of days (perfect timing, immune system! way to go!) and have so much christmas stuff ahead of me (wrapping wrapping wrapping), plus work, plus a very short christmas eve eve with joe before we part ways (he to denver, me to dallas) until saturday (me to denver). i don't know what's wrong with me... we had a perfect date night of sushi and sparkling sake and tempura ice cream then BAM i felt awful, and our entire sunday of christmas movie-watching and cookie-baking was replaced by me sleeping. and sleeping. and sleeping. i am rambly and tired and hurty and sad because of all of the above. so happy holidays... i hope to be in better spirits next time.
