i really was not supposed to spend any money on anything ever again, but
these sweet specs were the right price and i had had my eye on them for
too long. best part? under $25 ($12.95 for frames + $7 for lenses + $5 for anti-reflective coating).
i'm no expert, but if you feel like you're stuck with your $300 pair of glasses and want a change, i'd recommend it. i've only bought
this one other pair, but i had good luck. wished i had gotten the anti-reflective coating and they slip a little on my nose (i think any optometrist will fix that for you), but the quality is fine. i had them checked out at my last eye appointment, and the rx was spot on. joe recently got
a pair, too. he wasn't jazzed about the quality but he looks really good in them, so i'm not complaining.
yes, all the sites are jank and the follow-up e-mails are hardly in english, but glasses are glasses. and it's nice to have a couple options from day to day.
