a quick hello!

well, i am not doing the blogging i had hoped to do thanks to $25/a day (!!!) internet at the hotel. so, here's where i spend a great deal of my time netting it up. a sweet tourist haven. i think i've had a drink of some sort at every cafe in the square.

oh! and last night was independence day for belgium, so i had fireworks all over again.

well, i just wanted to drop a quick bonjour and show off my lovely photo.

hope everyone is doing well! perhaps i'll do a little blogging over breakfast tomorrow.

  8. It is absolutely obscene what hotels charge for internet. Gives you a good excuse to stay off the computer and enjoy your trip!

    Paying for hotel internet is such a scam...apparently putting out $200/night to sleep in a hotel bed isn't quite enough to get that coveted internet password! :)
