so this weekend i went to a gem trade show. i oohed and aahed over the pretty sparklies, and then i silently wept because the tiniest of stones cost so much.
and i thought of this ring.
ever since i saw this tourmaline beauty over at coco + kelley some months ago, it's been an object of my desire. and i still can't get over how pretty it is. love the big rock and tiny band.
let's all ooh and aah together now. sigh.

wow that picture is spectacular. It looks like all different colors of algae at the bottom of a river, or the different greens in a peacock feather. I wonder if it looks like that in real life or if they are just getting us with the pictures!
