the fuschia top and awesome belt could be playing a trick on my eyes, but this is the first time i've really thought wow! i should wear harem pants.
what are your thoughts? not for everyone?
this pair from anthropologie seems like it'd be pretty forgiving so i might finally be ready to give it a shot.

ReplyDeletethey look like the most comfortable pants EVER. but i'm thinking they wouldn't be very flattering on 5'2" me.

I can't help but think of the style rule that if you lived through the fad once you shouldn't attempt it on the second go-around. And yes, MC Hammer and those pants were big in my school Junior year, so that's a big NO from me. Can't Touch That!
ReplyDeleteoh, i think they're so cute! and if anthro is selling them...then you know it's all good! :)
ReplyDeletei think that look could be done WAAAAAAAAAY better. with heels and a better top. it looks kind of like a sad sack right now with lame shoes. sorry to be grouchy, but it has potential.
ReplyDeleteMC Hammer crap right there. Not cute, unless you are built like a model then maybe you can pass it off.
ReplyDeleteNot amused.
this is an anthro fail for me, i'm afraid. yikes!
ReplyDeleteI have to go with nope not for me. I dunno something just doesn't work for me. The harem pant for you is like the single pleat pant for me.
ReplyDeletei say wear what you wanna wear, BUT i shall call you princess jasmine.
ReplyDeleteyeah, this just evokes a little bit more aladdin than i'm willing to take on.
ReplyDeletei'm sure someone somewhere could rock these, but it is definitely not little 5'3"-too-round-for-my-height me!
Anthro can make anything look stylish, but in reality, I'm not about to put anything on my bottom half that makes it look any bigger!
