newspaper wallpaper.
i first saw this type of wall covering in anthropologie a couple years back and fell in love. can't wait to actually own a wall to do it to, though this site suggests using double-sided tape if you're a renter.

p.s. i also like the idea of bible-thin book paper. and at's suggestion of using chinese newspapers with red inks.
