it's october! (plus p.s.a. of the month)

and here's what october holds! ...

+ my m's birthday! family and cake!
+ breast cancer awareness month. so give yourself a good rub-down and race for the cure (or, sleep in, if that's more your style).
+ a four-day santa fe getaway with jose (joe did not rhyme).
+ some serious budgeting (holy-shit-christmas-is-like-tomorrow).
+ a happy halloween (speaking of which, want this, via outblush).

and, i even bet temperatures will begin to dip below 90! so, bring on the chili, scarves, gloves and boots.

sadly, though, because of said budgeting, i will not be able to own these pretty little things anytime soon. (i do plan to lovingly caress and smell them while in santa fe, though.)

and really, i know i've said this like 60 times, but i'm working on something and plan to be a much more active greedy blogger. i hope to get that out soon. so please have faith in me! if you'd like an e-mail when it's up and going, just send me a note, and i'll be glad to let you know.

i've decided to forgo the burberry trench plan. it turns out, it's really hard to save up for a thousand-dollar trench coat.

so, after 20 years, i plan to reintroduce the london fog back into the wardrobe.
