good to know.

ever wondered how long all that stuff at the back of your medicine cabinet or bottom shelf of the refrigerator will last? now you know.

swim.

i came across this a few weeks ago in a local publication and it was in emerald and i fell absolutely in love. i can't seem to find it in anything other than black or red, but it is so gorgeous. looks like it would be pretty flattering too for those of us who aren't nicole richie.

short-sighted.

ok, yes, the posting has been light. i know. this can be directly attributed to too much computer time at work and not wanting to open the laptop at all when i get home. so, before i run off to work and lock myself into the computer, i'll give you this.

thanks to my poor time management skills, summer has found a way to sneak up on me. that means i'm in oh shit, it's shorts weather mode but haven't done a thing about it. late-night taco bell runs and stress-induced coke(a-cola) binges can't be helping, but, again, i blame work. alas, i'm still determined to end the summer being fairly confident in a pair of shorts again. (let's face it. i'm not 16 anymore.)

next hurdle: swimsuits.

i know, i know... i haven't been very posty lately. i'll be out of town this weekend but here's a couple things to hopefully tide you over.

... shop the freddy & ma sample sale (up to 70 percent off). thanks to eunice for letting me know!

... if you're not feeling shoppy but are feeling femmetastic, here's some music.

very cool.

thanks to anisa from makool for tipping me off to their new online boutique.

not only do they offer free shipping (as far as i can tell), this dress is on sale. the alphabet top and shorts are super-cute too. also... check out the circus bags.

late.

i was tipped off to these probably months ago (thank you alexis via holly) but they've been sitting neglected in my 'post me' bookmarks folder, waiting for that day when i felt like posting again.

so, here you go... tiny candle hearths to warm your hearts (and hands).

they're by david weeks for kikkerland and are supposed to be available at myzplyzyk, but i can't seem to find them (they are probably sold out at this point. yes, you're welcome). but, check out cute pug topiary frame.
