caroline cares for michael kors.

though i wasn't crazily impressed with yesterday's shows, what i saw from michael kors got me pretty excited ...

one, tons of gray (with yellow!); two, it was all very wearable; and, three: though i suppose they're nothing new on the runway, lots and lots of huge sunglasses.

and i can't tell if i like that first shot for its adorable jacket or if it's because anouck lepere looks so happy and cute.

more fashion week fun, part three.

this is me in my pretend life.

from bill blass, fall 2007.

more fashion week fun, part two.

a lot of times betsey johnson is a little too over the top for me, but i love these three looks.

from chaiken.

i am so lost.

i keep seeing promos everywhere for lost, and i am so behind. i haven't been caught up on tv since around november, and my dvr is so backlogged. at this point, unless i'm stricken – blessed – with a bout of mono (wouldn't that be nice? sleepytime and weightloss), it doesn't look like i'll ever be catching up on it.

grey's anatomy keeps trying to lure me in with all this talk of drama on the set, but i refuse to watch it until i start where i left off (sometime in december). 24 has only been on a month, and i still haven't been able to watch.

you'd think i'd be able to handle a three-hour-a-week commitment.

i think having a more ideal entertainment setup would solve this problem. when i say 'entertainment setup,' i don't mean an obnoxious entertainment center with 18 speakers, a huge tv and dvds stacked all over it. i can't stand that.

something like this sideboard would be perfect. plenty of hidden storage for all that crap that's ugly. with a couple pretty books and a vase on top, i think it would look quite right.

yellow again.

i promise there will be no more talk of yellow after this. i just thought this was the sweetest little suit, and, really, just a sweet picture.

i'm always a fan of the strapless dress, and these are just so nice, especially with the wide banding at the bottom.

monday afternoon shoe time.

i want these really, really bad. they are so cute. usually i'm kind of opposed to any cutesy bullshit, namely ribbons and bows, on shoes but these are priced just right to make it ok.

sorry!

so i was feeling blog inspired today and have somehow managed to screw up the html (it seems impossibly more difficult with the new blogger) and have not accomplished what i set out to do.

so, please be patient with me as i work to repair it over the next day or two. i only say this because i'm tired of working on it today and it will have to look funny until i become reinspired (hopefully tomorrow).
