this one is nice too, but i think i might feel inclined to get fatter and fatter until it can accommodate my ass no longer.
aero lounge chair
design within reach, $220
...yes, that was a stretch.
so my boyfriend thinks his chair picks are better than mine. while it might be true today, it is certainly not always the case. but, i'd pick eames over pottery barn teen any day.
eames aluminum management chair
design within reach, $1,998
this chair would be 10x better if they would just show the chair in other colors, rather than just the swatches. either way, i'd probably go with white.
perforated airgo chair
pb teen, $179
nothing says 'bad-ass hand towel' like a skull and crossbones. am i right?
skull hand towel
pixelgirlshop, $15
if you're a fan of the beautiful simplicity that is moleskine, i hope you will find this as exciting as i do. imagine the possibilities! i'd probably go with something like white leather on the outside and a popping green on the inside.
moleskine pocket notebook cover
a.b. sutton, starting at $88
i've already talked about the great sale at target on lamps, right? well, i picked this one up last night because i needed a simple table lamp for my living room, which is lots of black and white with touches of red. it looks nice.
now, i am trying to hunt down a photo of this other lamp i got for my bedroom, which can only be described as -- hands over ears -- fucking fabulous. i don't even want to describe it. you just have to see it. of course, what i mean is that i took a fucking fabulous lampshade from a $30 (on sale) lamp, and it put it on a $10 lamp. this means i'm going straight to hell, yes, but i'm telling you...this lamp/lampshade section was pure chaos, and i'm not even convinced the shade belonged to the first lamp in the first place.
ok, upon further web inspection, i see i will just have to describe it (the f.f. lampshade): it is similar to this, but in white and with bigger holes. i'd say 16 inches in diameter and 10 inches tall. the base is a simple, teardrop-shaped ceramic base in white. you know you want it.
ceramic accent lamp
target, $9.99 (on sale in stores and $27.99 online)
i'm awake at some insanely early (late for most people) hour today and i just want to blog, baby, blog. there will be no working, as it is my saturday (wednesday for most people). i'll get up, enjoy a non-rushed shower, throw on something that doesn't have to be presentable to public and (gasp!) go out in public, where i may or may not spend way too much money, drive around in what will hopefully be sub-80-degree weather (time for a new car?) and do nothing important whatsoever. ah, life... isn't it grand?
this fantastic orange bag is for a friend who will totally trump my plans for rest and relaxation when he leaves for a tropical weekend escape. though i hate him for it, he will be missed.
marc newson for samsonite carry-on
moss, $240
it's high time i bought myself some diamonds, so i think the smart thing to do would be to start small. i'll leave the big stuff to the boys.
thin gold diamond band
tracey ross, call for price (i would do the dirty work for you, but it's too late in the day. i may give it a try tomorrrow.)
for the record, target has a huge sale going on right now on lamps and lighting. though the site doesn't reflect it, most of the lamps are something like 30 to 50 percent off, this lamp included.
i went in the store for water and oreos and almost came out with six lamps. but i will go back to collect what belongs to me. do you hear that, glass table lamp? get ready. because you are mine.
glass table lamp
target.com, $49.99 (doesn't reflect the awesome sale price found in store)
i know i've been a bad blogger lately, with all my inconsistency and absence and whatnot. but i promise it is all for a good reason. i have something bigger and better in the works, and i am hoping to unveil it soon. so don't give up on me!
i have a feeling there are a million things i haven't found yet, and if you have any ideas for any new sites to browse, please let me know. also, if you have any suggestions on things you'd like to see more of, let me know that too. otherwise, keep checking back and look for something new and fancy coming soon.
esther clutch
plunket & pivet, $238
all of the twig jewelry at twigsandheather.com is beautiful, but this one is my favorite because i love the time of year when these start falling from the trees. reminds me of being a kid. these are one of a kind and cast in silver. a pretty, fun way to be one with nature. just kidding. i didn't say that.
maple seed necklace
twigs and healther, $60-100
it's easter, and i just stole that title because it was fresh in my mind. not really a fan of eggs, especially when they still look like eggs with the yolk and everything. but this is still kind of cute and worthy of noting on easter.
heart egg ring
Graham & Green, £7.50
the last thing i need is another planner i don't use. i buy several every year because i like them so much and am generally attracted to their design, but sometime during the week of january 8, they go by the wayside.
but maybe this one will work for you.
pantone universe zipped organizer
pantone universe, $35
first of all, i have no idea how to pronounce espadrille. even after looking in the dictionary, i can't decipher the phonetics, if that's even the right word. and secondly, espa... you know... will always and forever remind me of the spiegel catalog of my youth. it's like the 'in' shoe year after year after year for those people. luckily for them, the espadrille crazy has seemed to have caught on... after 20 years.
'belieze' espadrille wedge sandal
banana republic, $68
my eyes are somehow drawn to all things cheap and yellow. this is fabulous, though. seriously. ditch the kiehl's and burts bees, and come aboard the cococare train of soft buttery lips.
cococare cocoa butter lip balm

all i'm saying is the reviews on this shoe look awfully promising. wedge+peep toe=fun!

and get rid of the map. i won't say it will make you look any cooler, but people won't hate you as much. this will give you a general idea without pissing off the natives.

this goes on the desk in the office of the imaginary business i own.
slott upright organizer
velocity art and design, $24
technically, though, i could just buy a pad of graph paper and make my own mousepad? i know...it's not as cool. but seriously, i'd take an 8.5x11 pad, which would give more room to work, no?
rhodia mouse pad paper
vickerey, $6.50
i'd be all over this. something about this is much more appealing than the idea of an ipod armband squeezed around my chubby arm.
ipod jacket
vickerey, $96
but i'm feeling completely uninspired lately. bags and shoes don't excite me anymore. i'm tired of wanting furniture i can't afford for an apartment i don't have. i thought for a second earlier i would check out ebay for tacky, kitsch-type things, which always used to make me feel better. just two days ago, manny the menorah could do it for me. but i get to ebay, and i am too apathetic to seek out a good starting spot. since when can i not find one thing on ebay?
maybe i should turn off the nina simone. i have a feeling that is acting as some huge physical and emotional depressant. i just want to crawl under my desk and go to sleep. and eat.
i'll try to muster up the energy/motivation/materialization to get it together.
know of something i might like, have a product you'd like featured or just want to send me lovely things?
just e-mail me at cd@iamagreedygirl.com.
